Do you have the best looking horse around? Are you totally convinced that he is a Winner? If so, enter him/her into our "Horse of the Month" competition.

Every horse lover knows that their horse is the best. Here at greenhorn-horse-facts, we love horses as well. We love nothing more than hearing your stories and looking at beautiful horse photos.

Winners will be featured on our homepage, and you also get your own web page to show off your horse and brag about him. Who knows, your horse could be our "Horse of the Month".

Rules for contest entries:

1. All entries must include a photo and a story about your horse. Winners will be judged on both.

2. All photos must be no larger that 800x600 pixels. Please re-size your photos accordingly.

3. Make sure your photo is clear and of good quality.

4. All horse pictures must be original content. The submitter must hold the copyrights to the picture and story.

5. All entries become the property of greenhorn-horse-facts and may be used for upcoming pages in the future. Photos will not be returned.

6. Horse photo contest deadlines will be the 10th day of the month. Winners will be announced on the 15th.

7. If your horse story is picked as the winner, you will be notified by email.

8. Don't forget to include your full name and email address (in case you win). Your email address will be removed before your story is published.

To June's Horse Of The Month Winner

Hayley and Mighty Mana

Hi guys my Names Mighty Mana I’m an awesome, very willing pony! I can jump a 1.10m and I’m only 13.2, but before I go into that I have to tell you of my story to getting to where I am. Well, I was at a pony club rally one day and my current owner (Hayley Anderson) happened to lay eyes on me I was only green but they thought I was awesome because I had never jumped before but yet I jumped up to 70cm that day with my owners mum Lauren. Lauren was awesome that day because she taught me to jump and do heaps of awesome stuff like X-country, games, jumping and really fun stuff! Then Hayley had a go on me, she fell in love and there was no way her dad could say no because he had two girl’s on his case! So I went home that day with my old mum and I thought, WHAT! I thought I was going with them but what I didn’t know was that they were keeping a secret from Hayley and I. One day Hayley went to squash and I was loaded up and taken to a strange farm. No, this farm wasn’t strange it was Hayley’s house! When Hayley got home I rushed down to the gate and Whinnied out as loud as I could! She screamed as loud as she could! Then Hayley ran into the paddock that I was in and gave me the biggest hug of my LIFE. Her dad said it was to late to ride so she thought of something else to do so she called very one in her family. It was the most people I had ever had around me. We make a really good team and she has taken me far and I’m pretty sure that I’ve taught her a lot as well! We could never, ever part and we will love each other to bits, and bits and bits! That’s for sure, we are now currently jumping up to 1.10! We have also won a pre training level ODE dressage competition over in Taupo! We have done loads of shows and we have won well over fifty ribbons and a trophy! The trophy was for most accumulated points. We where amazed and it was only our first season! Now its time for me to go I can see Hayley coming to the gate.
